  1. Bowtie /baʊ-taɪ/ (plural bowties):
Piece of fashion that consists of a ribbon of fabric tied around the collar in a symmetrical manner such that the two opposite ends form loops. Bowties are cool.
  2. Fez /fɛz/ (plural fezzes or fezes):
A felt cap, usually of a red color, having the shape of a truncated cone, and ornamented with a long black tassel, worn by men in Egypt, North Africa and by the Time Lords of Tardis: formerly the national headdress of the Turks. The fez is often considered as cool.
  3. Sonic Screwdriver /ˈsɒnɪk-ˈskruˌdraɪvər/
    (plural sonic screwdrivers)
    :

Multifunctional tool. Its most common function is that of a lockpick, but can be used to perform other operations such as performing medical scans, remotely controlling other devices and tracking alien life. The light color can be blue, green, red or white depending on the model and the function being used. It doesn’t do wood. Sonic screwdrivers are, without hesitation, cool.

*Bibliophile: My Tardis - The Graveyard

doctorwho:

dedicated-bibliophile:

Clara wasn’t sure where she was heading, but she figured it was time to explore this timey wimey box she’d been travelling in. All she had seen so far was her bedroom, the library, and a swimming pool with a suspicious looking banana floating in it, and since she couldn’t sleep and the Doctor was preoccupied with his fish fingers… What else did she have to do?

So she wandered, moving throughout the halls and peeking into one room after the other. Some were large, some were small, all were quite strange, though eventually she stumbled across a large oak door, which seemed quite odd, since the doctor had already explained that the sonic screwdriver doesn’t work on wood.

Staring up at the massive door, she studied the ornate engravings on it, each carving depicting people in strange garb doing something, though the largest by far was in the middle of the door, and showed a young boy staring deep into a… what? A black hole? A vortex? A small tube full of skittles? She couldn’t tell, and after a few minutes of trying to figure it out she began to wonder why she was staring at the door, and not at what was inside. So she opened it, and stepped within, and was… well. Sorely disappointed. It was just a room full of knick knacks. There were shelves lining the walls and on each of them were just random, everyday items. Name tags were placed beneath each of them, and she stood on her tip toes to get a better look.

Beneath a dried rose sitting on a shelf was the name Susan. A history book had Barbara in large print beneath it. Down the row of shelves she went, reading the names and examing the items, stopping to pick up a pin with the navy sigil on it, Ben printed beneath it. Putting the small item back, she moved on, slowly realized what this place was. Later down the row was a wedding ring, with Donna printed beneath it. And an old shirt with the British flag next to it. She stopped at a torn out page from a book and read it slowly, tears pricking her eyes as ran her thumb over the worn out, crumpled page. The last item on the shelf was a diary, old and blue, resembling the TARDIS. As she reached toward it, her fingers brushing across the name River, she heard the Doctor call for her.

“Clara?! What on earth are you doing?! I discovered a new flavor of pudding and I need you to try it!” She glanced back, fighting the urge to ignore him, and sighed, pulling her hand back and leaving the diary as it was, wondering when a piece of her would be put on a shelf, left to gather dust.

What room do you think would exist in the TARDIS? Write it, draw it, build it. Tag your post ‘My TARDIS’. We want to see.
